Marie-Andrée is a Senior Laser Technician at Face MD. She has extensive experience as a licensed esthetician/electrologist and a certified medical aesthetics technician in various body and facial rejuvenation technologies, as well as a medical assistant in injections. Her professional journey began in 2007 in Sherbrooke, where she worked in a relaxation spa and a laser hair removal clinic in the Eastern Townships. When she moved to the Montreal area, she opened her own aesthetic care institute. However, her passion for providing her clients with more concrete treatments to enhance their appearance led her to become interested in medical aesthetics, and she decided to work as a technician and assistant in clinics supervised by physicians.

Marie-Andrée chose to work at Face MD because of the quality and safety of care provided, which are a priority for her. She believes that their medical spa goes beyond what she calls the “Gold Standard,” and she strives to receive and treat her clients from that perspective. She enjoys helping people counteract the effects of certain factors or situations in life that have had a negative impact on the appearance of their skin, such as stress, illnesses, fatigue, and premature aging.

Marie-Andrée genuinely believes that it is possible to age gracefully and that the exterior can be in harmony with inner beauty, allowing that beauty to manifest in our entire identity. Regarding her favorite facial aesthetic treatment to perform, she prefers Co2 because she can see the tissues contracting with each pulse, and the Vbeam treatment because she enjoys seeing the vessels disappear under the pulse. As a patient, she enjoys receiving the CO2 laser treatment, which has significantly improved her skin, as well as the BBL treatment every three months to continue stimulating collagen and reducing the appearance of her pigment spots.

Outside of her work at Face MD, Marie-Andrée enjoys spending time taking care of her highly energetic little dog, Nūah, with whom she enjoys jogging. She is also occupied with her university studies in art history and theology, which stimulate her creativity for painting and video art, activities she loves to engage in and find very relaxing. Marie-Andrée is an intuitive person who cares about her clients’ goals in an honest approach that reflects her 15 years of experience in the field. She considers the entire client experience important and hopes that clients will see a beautiful improvement in their skin while receiving professional and quality treatment at Face MD.
